install
1. The CF flange connection consists of two identical flanges with flat washers made of OFHC copper, bolts, and nuts. Due to the application being in an ultra-high voltage environment, preparation work before installation is crucial. Surface cleaning can ensure the lowest possible gas release and leakage rates.
2. Using clean lint free gloves, place the pre cleaned OFHC copper gasket against the blade seal, preferably the flange that is most likely to secure and support the gasket from falling off. After the gasket is in place, match the flange with the required bolt direction; If the flange is equipped with a leak test slot, they should be aligned.
3. After aligning the flanges, insert bolts of appropriate size and tighten them by hand. Repeat this process using the remaining bolts. After tightening all bolts by hand, use two enclosed box wrenches to support the bolts and tighten the nuts. (The washer is used on the nut side)
